She is a licensed sports physical therapist and certified personal trainer who has dedicated the past several years into pursuing her passion to improve the movement and power of other golfers to benefit their swing and overall play. She is proficient in rehabilitation after injury, injury prevention and performance enhancement.

Options: Level 1 Golf physical assessment; Level 2 Golf physical plus fitness/power assessment; Level 3 Golf Physical Assessment plus 2D video analysis; Golf follow-up reassessments and personal training sessions

Level 1: Golf PHYSICAL assessment (90 min, $175)

  • Full body movement assessment by a certified physical therapist and personal trainer
  • Includes strength, flexibility, balance and coordination/body separation screen
  • PHYSICAL handicap results along with an individualized golf fitness/exercise plan available on free my TPI app
  • Education on physical findings and how these affects your swing

The physical assessment uncovers the body-swing connection to allow you to play at your best. If your body can’t move correctly because of lack of strength, flexibility, or muscle coordination, this limits your golf swing. Any limitation can put you at an increased risk of injury and inhibit you in reaching your maximal potential.

After the physical assessment, exercises will be prescribed targeting the dysfunctions that were found. Your TPI professional will provide you with your findings as well as your prescribed exercise program on a free, easy to use app on your phone, to enable ease of carrying out your program. Proper training seeks to reduce muscular imbalance and asymmetries found that combat the one-sidedness of the golf swing. It will increase the mobility of the joints that need to move well in the golf swing including the hips, shoulders, and upper back, strengthen and improve the timing and sequence of muscle firing patterns in the core, glutes, and legs. “Your swing doesn’t care how you look; it cares how you move.”

Level 2: Golf physical assessment PLUS strength/power assessment (2.25-2.5 hrs; $275) (Level 2 assessment only, if already completed level 1 prior: $150).

This includes everything above in the Level 1 assessment but also includes objective numbers of:

  • Upper body push and pull strength
  • Upper body power
  • Lower body strength
  • Lower body power (vertical jump)
  • Rotational power
  • Core strength/power

These numbers help you gauge your improvement after carrying out your individualized plan set for you. The plan will focus on any deficits found throughout the evaluation. Level one focus’ mainly on the ability to move correctly in several areas; whereas, level 2 takes you to the next step of comparing your strength and power numbers to PGA standards.

Level 3: Golf Physical Assessment PLUS 2-D swing analysis (2.5-3hrs.+ $350)

This will include everything in the Level 1 physical assessment as well as utilizing Golf-specific software on an iPad to analyze your golf swing from the frontal view and down-the-line view. Connections will be made based on the physical findings and how they link to swing faults viewed on video. Instruction will be given in exercises targeting the swing faults and physical limitations found. This is different from a skill/swing analysis done with a golf professional. This helps to link any physical limitations with potential swing faults and attacks those limitations in an exercise program. Follow up video available at subsequent sessions. (This video session will be performed indoors into a hitting net).
